Mr. Auerbach has represented clients and litigated matrimonial matters throughout the United States. He was the Principal Drafter of the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act enacted in 1977 and has lectured extensively on matrimonial law. The Illinois Institution for Continuing Legal Education has described him as the Dean of Illinois matrimonial lawyers. He handles complex financial matrimonial litigation.
